Christine Asiko

Christine AsikoChristine Asiko is the founder and CEO of Strive International. Christine holds a Bachelor’s degree in education the University of Nairobi and a post-graduate qualification in teaching Learners with Specific Learning Difficulties such as dyslexia from the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre, UK. Christine has been involved in education reform for over 20 years as a classroom teacher and facilitator of expert workshops and forums. She has hands-on experience developing policy on governance in education. She has sat on the Board of the American International School of Johannesburg and Tiger Kloof Educational Institution, Vryburg, South Africa.

Christine is a winner of the International Alliance for Women (TIAW) World of Difference 100 Award 2013, which recognises women and men whose efforts have advanced the economic empowerment of women locally, regionally or world wide. An impassioned writer, she is a regular contributor to Kenya’s The Edition magazine and previously South Africa’s The Expatriate magazine, among other publications.
